Health Guarantee

Our goal is to produce healthy quality Kittens for people to enjoy for a long time in their lives. I do not believe that your Kitten that you have had in your home is replaceable, but I do feel that sometimes the loss of a four legged family friend can be lessened with the addition of a new one. In the unfortunate event that your Kitten would need to be put down within the first two years of its life due to genetics, or if it is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders that adversely affect the health of your Kitten I will replace your Kitten with your pick of a Kitten from any of my females/male combinations. The cause of death or condition will have to be certified and recorded by a licensed veterinarian. In the event that the Kitten has not died and there is an issue you may be asked to submit x-rays or have the condition verified with a second opinion.

In the event that the condition or death is due to genetics and occurs after the Kitten turns 2 years old I will give you credit for 50% of your purchase price towards the purchase costs of a new Kitten from any of my female/ male combinations. The cause of death or condition will have to be certified by a licensed veterinarian and you may be asked to have a second opinion or to submit x-rays taken to diagnose the condition.

I cannot guarantee that your Kitten will never become ill or need more than routine veterinary care, and this guarantee does not cover the reimbursement of any veterinary bills associated with this Kitten.

What I need from you:

Nothing would make me happier than knowing that I have been a part of bringing a happy healthy Kitten to your family. To help ensure this I will have a veterinarian examine your Kitten not more than one week prior to the date you take possession of your Kitten, and I ask that you have your veterinarian do an examination of your Kitten not more than 5 days after receiving your Kitten.

Your Kitten will come with all age appropriate vaccinations and dewormings, but it may still need more to be fully vaccinated. I will send a copy of all vaccines and dewormings your Kitten has received with your Kitten along with when the next set of vaccinations and dewormings is recommended. After that you and your veterinarian should establish what vaccines and care your Kitten should receive.

Exceptions to the Guarantee:

  • I cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, or breeding ability of your new Kitten.
  • I cannot replace your Kitten for hip or elbow dyspepsia if your Kitten is overweight and/or if you cannot produce a history of joint supplement vitamins, and maintained a proper diet of premium foods. All food changes must be approved for your health guarantee to withstand by the breeder.
  • In the event that your Kitten is diagnosed with hip or elbow dyspepsia the breeder will require x-rays and a second opinion from a Vet of the breeders choice.
  • I cannot replace your Kitten if routine medical care has not been maintained for your Kitten. This includes all vaccines, deworming, heart worm prevention, and flea and tick prevention. You are required to have your Kitten seen annually by your veterinarian and maintain all vaccines and preventative care as recommended by your veterinarian.
  • This guarantee does not include any costs associated with spaying and neutering this Kitten including that of U UN-descended testicles.
  • Failure to receive adequate and regular veterinary care will void this guarantee.

Shipping Guarantee

We receive many inquiries on the process of shipping a Kitten–individuals often wonder if it is safe and how it works.

This is how I explain the shipping process to individuals to help them feel more at ease with the process of getting a Kitten. Shipping a Kitten Is Very safe: See Below Details

Your Oriental Shorthair Kitten departs from the airport closest to us, to your nearest airport. Your Kitten travels in a climate-controlled cabin area for pets(an airline-approved carrier). Ahead of time, you will have a flight #, arrival time, and a reference # that identifies your Kitten. We make all the arrangements for you, and you pick your Kitten up at the airport, just like picking up a person & you will need a reference/airbill number Or the Kitten is being delivered at your home address. Most of our customers prefer the Kitten to be delivered at their homes as it’s less of a hassle. Shipping is totally safe & stress-free on the Kitten. You will receive Kitten within 5-6 hours same day after shipping depending on your location. Kittens on planes are as safe as you or I flying. I have shipped Cats for more than 14 years now. I always try to ship direct non-stop when flying Kittens and adults. In my experience and opinion, my Kittens are very comfortable and the new owners tell me that their new Kitten has arrived happy and not at all stressed.

We ship our Kittens using airlines because it is the fastest & safest way to transport our Kittens from our place to yours especially if you live far away or in another state. Our Kittens are shipped in an airline-approved plastic pet kennel that we customize depending on the weight of the Kitten, the distance or duration of the journey. They ride in a special climate-controlled & pressurized compartment on the plane which is no different from the cabin. They are not in the same compartment as the passenger luggage.

Our shipping crates are clearly marked with colorful “LIVE ANIMALS” and “UP” stickers. We mark the crates clearly with the destination airport, the confirmation number, the phone & address of the customer. When we know that a Kitten is going to be shipped, we play with them in the crate prior to shipping so they are used to it. They have never shown fear of the crate. We put lots of food & plenty of water in the shipping crate. The water provides all the moisture the Kitten need during delivery. One reason we do this is in case, in the unlikely event the Kitten should get stuck at an airport overnight (because of connecting flight trouble), we don’t have to worry if they have enough to eat or drink. Although travelling is not that hard on them, we do not like to make them spend any more time than absolutely necessary in transit. For this reason, we also look for the shortest route & always schedule direct flights if possible.

We check weather conditions at the receiving end and only ship when we consider it safe to do so. We put our Kittens’ health above all other considerations and do not ship when we feel it could be dangerous to the Kittens’ well-being. We usually ship Monday – Sunday. We guarantee a safe & healthy arrival of your Kitten. We WILL NOT SHIP if we feel that weather conditions are hazardous for the Kitten. Your Kitten may take few days to adjust once they get to their new homes, sometimes it takes them a day or two to settle in, but by far, the vast majority of people tell us they just step right out of the shipping crate & act right at home.
